After eleven chapters of doctrine, Paul urges the believers to present themselves to Yahweh: Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Webin v. 12 shows that something other than the picture of the human body occupied the central position in Paul's mind. This was an explanation of how this unity in diversity came into being.
